I have used the colours black and white to represent the plantsbrook colours as these colours are associated with the school. Next to the masthead is the plantsbrook logo, in black and white. This is to show the school's trademark and the target audience and readers of this magazine can be familiar with the school. The main image is a school girl wearing the school uniform and she is sitting at a desk. This image portrays a student at plantsbrook school in which the readers of this magazine will hopfully be able to relate too and offers a sense of realism into school life. Below the main image is the 'Puff' stating that a free pb pen is included, and hopfully not only encourage more people to purchase the magazine, but also to promote the school. The cover lines on the side show the contents of the magazine and inform the audience what is included within the magazine.
